Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client team. The successful candidate will interact with IT professional teams in the design, planning, management, implementation, and delivery of technology solutions. As a Project Manager, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with exceptional customer service.
Challenges
Demonstrate deep understanding of project management methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques.
Direct, communicate, and exhibit exceptional leadership behaviors to manage effective delivery of services and processes.
Conduct project planning, execution, controlling, and closing activities in accordance with PMI methodology.
Ensure effective management throughout the life of engagement, including project planning, scope management, budget management, resource schedule management, risk/issue management, communications management, and quality management.
Document and share lessons learned to support continuous process improvement.
Possess functional knowledge of relevant IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and/or Managed Services technologies within the client service portfolio.
Demonstrate and actively promote an understanding and commitment with organization's values.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field and formal Project Management Training are required.
5+ years of enterprise-level project management experience, managing Information Technology projects and leading teams.
5+ years of project management experience in IT Professional Services, IT Infrastructure, Data Center, and/or Managed Services technologies.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, and experience working within Project or Project Portfolio or Workforce Management systems.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is essential.
CAPM, ITIL, CSM and/or technical certifications.
